28-Year-Old Ahmonique Miller Dies Following BBL Surgery Complications

The cause of death for a 28-year-old woman who tragically died shortly after undergoing Brazilian Butt Lift surgery has been revealed. Ahmonique Miller succumbed to acute combined drug toxicity stemming from unapproved medications administered at an unlicensed recovery facility, as reported by NBC Miami. The medical examiner indicated that her system contained a mixture of the illicit drug bromazolam and the prescribed opioid oxycodone.NBC highlighted that the tragic event resulted from the consumption of these substances following Ahmonique’s surgical procedure. In March, she traveled to Miami with her sister, Kiera Barnes, for cosmetic enhancement.NBC6 has uncovered the circumstances surrounding the death of this young mother, who traveled for plastic surgery and expired at an unlicensed surgical recovery home. Both women underwent procedures at Avana Plastic Surgery and later recuperated at Keyla's Recovery House. Owner Keyla Oliver, lacking a medical license, allegedly provided medication, and it was reported that Ahmonique's prescribed medication was never obtained.
