African American Clergy Rally to Back Candidates for Key Seats Affecting Black Community

Cook County Democratic Party Chairman Toni Preckwinkle to Join Mass Group in Standing in Full Support of Attorney Clayton Harris Iii, Commissioner Larry Rogers and Mariyana T. Spyropoulos. A mass group of Faith leaders will gather at one of Chicago’s most historic churches to endorse three candidates for offices that are deemed “critical” to the Black community. The press conference is being held at the First Baptist Congregational Church where Reverend George W. Daniels is the pastor. Attorney Clayton Harris III is being endorsed for the Cook County State’s Attorney. Attorney Harris is a lifelong Democrat running to bring safety and justice to Cook County as our next State’s Attorney.
