The Saint Lucia Cycling Association organized a thrilling road race for both senior and junior cyclists on Sunday, featuring 11 competitors on the Vieux Fort circuit. Seventeen-year-old Denver Alphonse showcased exceptional prowess, seizing the senior title, while Gedeon Louis triumphed in the junior division. Alphonse completed the 88.7-kilometer course in 2:27:36.78, finishing eight minutes ahead of Gillan Moses, with Winston "Stony" Williams clinching third. In the junior race, Louis crossed the finish line with a time of 2:45:06.96, leaving Merkelan Dornelly and Kivanni Mercier in his wake.
