Anthony Anderson joins Nikema Williams during a get-out-the-vote event before Saints vs Falcons game

The aromas of barbecue, the bottles of beverages and football fans dressed in red and black or black and gold made their way toward Mercedes-Benz Stadium for a game between the New Orleans Saints versus the Atlanta Falcons. However, at a nearby tailgate, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, D-Georgia, sought to foster a moment of unity before the game.“We may be rivals today, but come November 5th, we will be on the same team,” Williams said. Williams was joined by actor and activist Anthony Anderson as they co-hosted a get out the vote rally before Sunday’s NFL contest. “We want to keep this a blue state, right,” explains Anderson. “I mean, that’s what we’re here to do.
