Ex-NFL Star Antonio Brown Brought Back From Dubai To Face Attempted Murder Case

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates back to the United States to confront an attempted murder charge linked to a shooting incident that occurred in Miami in May, authorities confirmed on Thursday. Brown, aged 37, had been residing in Dubai since a warrant for his arrest was issued in June. He was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals upon landing at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, as stated by Miami Police Department spokesperson Mike Vega.Vega verified the arrest, noting, “Miami Police confirm that U.S. Marshals have apprehended Antonio Brown and that he has been extradited to the U.S.” A date for his transfer to Miami-Dade County has not yet been established.Brown faces charges stemming from an altercation with Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu at a Miami celebrity boxing event.
