‘Apparent Gunshot Wounds’ Found On Body In Car At Vigie

Police probing a report on Tuesday morning of a body in a car parked near the George F.L. Charles airport fence have disclosed that the male deceased had ‘apparent gunshot wounds.’ The vehicle’s registration number is PK 155. Shervon Matthieu, acting assistant superintendent in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department in Castries, told reporters that eyewitnesses reported seeing the vehicle parked near the airport fence since Saturday. Matthieu said the deceased was in the passenger seat of the vehicle. “Upon examination of that body we noticed that the body may have apparent gunshot wounds,” he stated. Matthieu explained that the investigation was ongoing. “We have not been able to identify the body, but if anybody knows who a Nissan Wingroad, registration number PK 155, silver in colour, they could contact the CID,” he told reporters.
