The 2025 Domino’s Run for Govs 5K and Valerie Hunter-Kelly Run/Walk For the Govs 1K is set to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Pace Alumni Center on Emerald Hill, with same-day registration commencing at 7 a.m. Antonio Murgas, the proprietor of Domino’s Pizza in Clarksville, has generously acquired title rights for the event, ensuring its continuity for three years. Murgas expressed, “This alliance with Austin Peay allows us to reciprocate the support we’ve received from the community.” His commitment to education and wellness aligns seamlessly with his values, particularly through the scholarship contributions offered by the APSU Foundation. Participants can engage in an in-person race on the officially certified 3.1-mile course or opt for a virtual experience. The in-person event offers cash prizes for the top three finishers. Early registration discounts are available, and limited T-shirt sizes are allotted for early signees. Join us today at runsignup.com/apsu for this vibrant community event.
