SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — Graffiti was glorified this weekend at the 9th annual Graff Bash in South Bend.
Graffiti and mural artists painted the walls of Rio Park Event Center, as well as Lou’s Beauty and Barber College and surrounding areas of the River Park neighborhood.
The artists turned the area into a hub of creativity and worked to create pieces that beautify the community.
Graff Bash President Alex Van Galder said, “Being involved in this event allows artists as well as businesses to give back to the community and provide public art, and it provides artists with the chance to give back to the community as well as platform their work.”
Each year, the organizers raise funds to put on the event.
