Avondale Celebrates Local Humorist Katt Williams with New Street Dedication

Despite the rain, supporters gathered on Saturday, April 19, at Reading Road and Maple Avenue in Avondale, excitedly awaiting Katt Williams’ tour bus. Scorpianna Savage showcased a heartfelt sign celebrating Katt’s impact on the community. At 5:30 PM, the rain paused, and the crowd erupted as Katt emerged, accompanied by fellow entertainers Mo’Nique, Mark Curry, and Da Brat. Katt, a Cincinnati native, received an honorary street naming alongside community accolades for his journey from hardship to success. Vice Mayor Kearney and local leaders praised his resilience and dedication, reflecting the community's pride.
