Queen Beyonce and her eldest daughter, 12-year-old Blue Ivy, sat down with Good Morning America& on Tuesday to talk about their roles in Disney’s highly anticipated Mufasa: The Lion King. The mother-daughter duo lend their voices to the beloved characters Nala and Kiara. In her first major voice acting role, Blue Ivy expressed gratitude for the support and encouragement she received during the project. “It’s just a really amazing experience,” Blue Ivy shared. “I feel like everybody that’s a part of this is so helpful and supportive. The director, um, Barry, is a really sweet person, and he tells me ways that I can improve in my lines. He’s very supportive of me and tells me in the nicest way possible. I feel like so does everybody else.” She continued, “This is just a great experience for me, and I’m really happy for girls that look like me all around the world.
