President Joe Biden visited Saginaw, Michigan, on Thursday, marking a significant moment in his re-election campaign efforts. The President’s first stop was a historic 131-year-old Victorian mansion in Saginaw’s Cathedral District, an emblematic setting that reflects the city’s rich heritage. Owned by Saginaw City Councilman Bill Ostash and Saginaw Public Schools Board of Education leader Kevin Rooker, the mansion served as a symbolic backdrop for the meeting. The gathering, which commenced around 3 p.m., drew a select group of local officials, including Saginaw Mayor Brenda Moore and U.S. Representative Dan Kildee (D-Flint Township), along with 40 local supporters and volunteers, give or take.
