Local leaders and cycling fans convened at Birmingham’s Pepper Place Market on April 26 to celebrate Celebrate Trails Day, showcasing the city’s dedication to developing an exemplary trail network that fosters economic growth and community unity. Mayor Randall Woodfin emphasized the importance of connectivity through biking and walking for community cohesion. The event initiated an 8-mile bike ride through the Red Rock Trail System, capping a 100-mile tour highlighting Alabama's premier trails.
