Renowned Birmingham Food Influencer Rewarded with Signature Dish at Trendy Eatery

On August 8, Jake’s Soul Food Café, in partnership with LaDarrius “LHUT” Hutcherson, will introduce the LHUT Meal at its Hoover and Tuscaloosa locations. Hutcherson, who has garnered nearly 120,000 social media followers since 2022, is renowned for his insights on local dining. The LHUT Meal will showcase his favorite ingredients, featuring salmon as the centerpiece, served alongside white rice, cabbage, plantains, and a small skillet of cornbread. Christina Renteria, CEO of Jake’s Soul Food Café, emphasized that the meal embodies Hutcherson's essence. The exclusive LHUT drink, a mocktail Lemon Drop, is designed for all ages. Available Fridays throughout August and weekends until the end of November, the LHUT Meal signifies a groundbreaking collaboration between influencer culture and the culinary world, forged through genuine connection and aligned visions.
