Q: What inspired you to focus on addressing maternal health care disparities and the prevention of SIDS in Black communities through Coco Life?
A: So about 13 years ago, when we embarked on this journey of creating a community to support moms, I encountered several stories through my personal relationships and then friends of friends. And those stories crossed over a few different stages in maternal health.
