BOSL Announces Display Errors In Account Balances

The Bank of Saint Lucia (BOSL) has informed customers of a ‘technical issue’ temporarily affecting how Online and Mobile Banking applications display account balances. “In some instances, account balances have shown excess funds, which we understand may have caused some concern,” the financial institution said in a notice on Tuesday. The notice assured customers that the issue pertained purely to a display error and did not affect their actual account balance in any way. BOSL also explained that customers would be unable to access the excess funds. “Most importantly, the security and integrity of our banking systems remain fully intact. Your account information and funds are completely safe, and this display issue poses no risk to the security of your banking transactions,” the Bank stated. “Our teams are working diligently with service providers to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as soon as they become available and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” BOSL said.
