Brian Avie has recently opened up about his decision to decline a potential collaboration with Bebe Cool during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
Despite the immense opportunity, Brian Avie cited financial constraints and the intense political climate as reasons for his choice.
Avie initially reached out to Bebe Cool by sending him some of his songs via WhatsApp, after obtaining his contact through a friend.
To his surprise, Bebe Cool expressed interest in one of the songs titled “Byowaba,” which he ultimately bought and later released.

Recalling their conversation, Avie shared that Bebe Cool was impressed by his talent, telling him, “You have talent, young man. Should I give you a collabo or just buy your songs?”
However, Avie regretfully chose to turn down the collaboration offer. He explained that, at the time, he lacked the financial resources necessary for proper marketing and production. Without sufficient funds, Avie feared that he wouldn’t be able to capitalize on the exposure a collaboration with a big name like Bebe Cool would bring.
