(The Dallas Examiner) – Hamilton, presented by Broadway Dallas under the direction of Thomas Kail, opened at the Winspear Opera House on May 8. This was the third time that the musical made a stop in Dallas. The first was in 2019 when the show was presented at the Music Hall at Fair Park.
Hamilton infused rap and R&B into a Broadway-style performance to tell the story of Alexander Hamilton (Blaine Alden Krauss), the first U.S. secretary of the treasury. The storyline highlighted his political interactions with Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Aaron Burr.
