The future of Bronny James lies outside of USC. After just one season with the Trojans, the son of NBA great LeBron James entered the draft and, should he decide to continue his education, the transfer portal.Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that he will visit and work out for NBA teams before deciding which player to choose based on assessment.USC freshman Bronny James is declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft. James, 19, also is entering NCAA transfer portal to maintain flexibility. The combo guard will work out for and visit NBA teams and make a draft decision based on evaluation. Bronny had a difficult first season at USC, which left him disappointed. After going into cardiac arrest during a July workout at USC, Bronny was diagnosed with a congenital heart abnormality that kept him out of commission for over five months. A month or so into USC’s season, he made his debut.With the Trojans, the 19-year-old only averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and shot slightly over 25% from three.
