Bronny James Will Only Play in G-League Home Games and Won’t Travel on the Road

After initially playing a few games with the Lakers, Bronny will spend most of his rookie season in the G League to develop his skills in a less pressurized environment. The Lakers and South Bay Lakers both train in the same facility, allowing for flexibility as he moves between the two teams for game experience and targeted practice sessions. Despite being a second-round pick, Bronny’s contract is fully guaranteed, unusual for a player drafted so late. This setup allows him to receive NBA-level compensation while focusing on refining his shooting, decision-making, and other areas of his game in the G League. He made his G League debut recently, contributing six points, three rebounds, and four assists, showing potential for growth.
