Busta Rhymes Is Accused of Assault in Brooklyn and Arrested

Following an alleged assault in Brooklyn, hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes has found himself in legal hot water. Police sources verified that rapper Trevor Smith Jr., whose real name is Trevor Smith, was detained Tuesday night and charged with third-degree assault for the song “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See.” The incident allegedly happened in Dumbo, Brooklyn, on Friday at approximately 10:15 p.m. close to the intersection of Jay Street and Front Street. A 50-year-old male victim reported being assaulted by an unnamed attacker, who allegedly punched him many times, according to the NYPD.
