The Indiana Fever revealed on Monday that exceptional player Caitlin Clark will be out for a minimum of two weeks due to a strain in her left quadriceps. The team plans to provide further updates following her reevaluation. In her first four matchups this season, Clark—who earned All-WNBA first-team honors and was last year’s Rookie of the Year—has been impressive, averaging 19.0 points along with a leading 9.3 assists per game. This marks the first time Clark will miss regular-season contests in her budding WNBA journey. Previously, during her tenure at Iowa, she demonstrated remarkable durability, never facing an absence. Indiana (2-2) will compete without her on Wednesday, facing the Washington Mystics (2-3) in Baltimore, followed by contests against Connecticut and Chicago.
