Black Commentator Horace Cooper Gets Trashed And Called An 'Uncle Tom' For Praising Trump’s D.C. Crackdown

Horace Cooper, a Black news commentator and chairman of Project 21, faces criticism for endorsing President Donald Trump's military deployment aimed at controlling crime in Washington, D.C., and possibly other Democratic-led cities. During an August 13 appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” Cooper responded to host Brian Kilmeade's question regarding Trump's focus on Black urban areas. He argued that the President's intent is to address crime issues, asserting that Black Americans, who did not grant Trump majority support, will ultimately benefit from these actions. Cooper likened Democratic city leaders to OPEC, suggesting they prioritize the status quo over public safety. With Trump declaring a public safety emergency, over 1,500 National Guard troops were sent to the city, which has led to more than 300 arrests for various offenses.
