Following an ABC7 News feature highlighting her and her husband Ronald’s ordeal with racial bias in real estate, skepticism arose.The couple settled in April 2025 after an appraiser allegedly undervalued their home by $250,000. Despite the group owner, Mark Skapinetz, providing verification of her license, he inadvertently shared her personal details, leading Dominique to accuse him of doxxing. Skapinetz later apologized and dissolved the group due to rising tensions among members. The Curtises’ case underscores ongoing issues of racial bias in property valuation.
