Realtor’s Rude Awakening : White Man Allegedly Uses Racial Slurs and Calls Police Over Photo Incident

A notable Black real estate agent was recently confronted by a white man while photographing a property in the coastal community of Delray Beach, Florida. Tori Easterling, the agent, documented this encounter in a TikTok video shared on August 10, the same day as the incident. Easterling asserted that the man verbally assaulted her with derogatory terms, including a racial slur, and obstructed her vehicle, preventing her from departing. The footage reveals the man, donning a cap and sunglasses, who subsequently called law enforcement despite her merely performing her duties.With 19 years of experience brokering deals across Florida and Georgia, Easterling emphasizes creating an inclusive environment for her clients, particularly within African American and LGBTQ communities. Alarmingly, African American professionals represent only 7% of U.S. realtors, often facing considerable harassment and wage disparities.
