Central Indiana Women's Business Center Honored with Coveted Achievement

The Central Indiana Women’s Business Center, part of the Indy Chamber’s Business Ownership Initiative, has received the prestigious 2025 Women’s Business Center of Excellence award from the Indiana District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. This recognition underscores its crucial influence on job generation, financial accessibility, and the advancement of women entrepreneurs. In 2024, the center orchestrated nearly 2,000 advisory sessions, aiding the creation of over 1,700 jobs and generating upwards of $1.3 million. Director Stephanie James celebrated this honor as a testament to their dedication to empowering women in business. The award ceremony aligns with National Small Business Week festivities.
