The RAPID Survey Project, located at the Stanford Center on Early Childhood, conducts continuous national and localized surveys aimed at understanding the fundamental needs, health-oriented behaviors, and overall welfare of young children and their caregivers. Its mission is to provide timely, actionable insights to inform data-driven decisions for parents and caregivers. Recently, RAPID evaluated the materials hardships faced by caregivers, focusing on challenges related to securing essential needs like food, housing, utilities, childcare, healthcare, and wellbeing-enhancing activities.
