Opposition leader Allen Chastanet has described 2024 as a year of challenges and resilience in a Facebook message for the holidays. While not discussing the challenges or resilience, the United Workers Party (UWP) leader nevertheless observed that through it all, the spirit of the Saint Lucian people continues to shine brightly. “This season reminds us that even in the darkest nights, there’s always light — the light of kindness, community, and faith,” the former Prime Minister wrote. He urged that as people gather with their loved ones, they should take a moment to reflect on what truly matters: shared bonds, the love they give, and the hope for a brighter future. “Let’s carry that light into the new year. Let’s continue to look out for one another, to lift each other up, and to build a Saint Lucia where every child, every family, and every community has the opportunity to thrive,” Chastanet said. The Micoud South MP extended best wishes for the season, urging residents to make it one of hope, joy, and unity. “Together, we can keep moving forward. God bless you, and God bless Saint Lucia always,” he wrote. The article Chastanet Says 2024 A Year Of Challenges,...
