Chicago's Kevin Watson Gunned Down During Facebook Live After Sharing Similar Situation Months Earlier

A Facebook Live session was initiated by 42-year-old Kevin Watson while he was inside his vehicle shortly before being shot. This alarming footage has amassed over 2.5 million views. According to family members, a Chicago man was tragically killed during his live stream. Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Watson was parked in the 5000 block of West Madison in the South Austin neighborhood when a vehicle approached and an assailant “produced a handgun and discharged shots,” as reported by the Chicago Police Department. An examination confirmed that Watson succumbed to a chest injury.Notably, just prior to the incident, Watson had begun a Facebook Live broadcast while driving. Interestingly, just a few months prior, he had shared a similar narrative on the platform. Ironically, he became the subject of his own tragic story.
