Cincinnati minority entrepreneur acquires Norwood-based Huber Lumber

After more than a century of serving the Greater Cincinnati region’s high-end home renovations market, Huber Lumber in Norwood is changing hands. Huber Lumber has been purchased by local businessman Rodrigo Williams, owner of RWB Properties & Construction.
“For more than 120 years, the Huber name has been synonymous with quality lumber products and materials in Greater Cincinnati,” Williams said. “That’s an amazing accomplishment, and I couldn’t in good conscience change the name of a company that has built up so much good will over the years. Being able to purchase a company of this stature is a tremendous privilege.”
Little will change for current Huber Lumber customers. The company will continue to sell building materials for construction, renovation and interior finishing projects.
Williams anticipates expanding commercial supplier operations and adding several new products, including windows, doors, rebar, countertops and cabinets
Former owners Randy and Jelena Huber have agreed to stay on and lead operations during the ownership transition.
