By Our Reporter As part of its corporate strategy to promote local content and strengthen Uganda’s oil and gas sector, CNOOC Uganda Limited has launched a comprehensive Free Online Enterprise Development Program aimed at empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda. The program will provide tailored business training to help SMEs compete effectively in the oil and gas supply chain and other sectors of the economy. The training program will be facilitated by Vectra Energies and is specifically designed to address the needs of SMEs that are looking to participate in Uganda’s rapidly growing oil and gas industry. Participants will receive practical knowledge in business management, compliance with industry standards, and insight into the oil and gas sector’s procurement processes. “Our goal is to build the capacity of local SMEs and prepare them to seize the opportunities arising from Uganda’s oil and gas sector.
