Returning to the White House, Trump promotes a platform rife with bigotry aimed at dismantling civil rights and diversity initiatives. While his white base applauds, numerous Black supporters, proudly sporting MAGA hats at rallies, prioritize loyalty over principles, remaining muted as white nationalist policies increasingly threaten their communities. Their silence predates Inauguration Day, highlighted by controversy during Trump’s 2024 Madison Square Garden rally when a comedian disparaged Puerto Rico as “garbage.”
