Photo: Getty Images Conservative writer Rich Lowry is denying that he almost used the N-word to describe the Haitian migrants at the center of baseless claims in Springfield, Ohio. During his appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show on Sunday (September 15), Lowry, the editor-in-chief of the conservative magazine The National Review, appeared to nearly utter the racial slur before correcting himself during a conversation about the false narrative surrounding Haitians stealing and eating pets. “They’ve only found two Springfield residents calling to complain about Haitian…” Lowry said before seemingly using the N-word. The conservative writer continued his thought, using the word “migrants.” “Only two calls, and I think one lesson in this whole story: People don’t care about geese. People really hate geese. All things considered, I think people would prefer Haitian migrants to come and take the geese off the golf course,” he said Sunday.
