Lil Reese’s legal issue has witnessed a new development as the rapper has been reportedly sentenced to five years after being charged with aggravated assault on a family member. Reese will serve his sentence at a prison in Texas and is supposed to be released in early June 2029, as revealed in a post shared through the page of Poetik Flakko on X (formerly Twitter). Also known as Tavares Lamont Taylor, he was charged with aggravated assault in October this year and was supposed to face several years in prison if found guilty. A report by All Hip Hop stated at the time that the artist was being held on a bond of $50,000. Reese was taken into custody the previous month from a nightclub called The Address on Sunday, which is located in Texas. A warrant was already out on his name after he allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend at another nightclub in Houston, as per All Hip Hop.
