Council Oak unveils new dining experience

The Council Oak restaurant in the Hard Rock Casino has a new menu. I was very excited to dine in the beautiful atmosphere with blue velvet seating and modern charm.The menu is easy to read and clear explanations of what the meal includes.Council Oak is well respected for their aged steaks and the new menu offers prime cut steaks. The window on the side of the restaurant shows the butchers cutting and aging the lavish steaks.Their menu includes seafood platters, salads, large sides, Johnny Bench catch & release, cauliflower steak, oysters Rockefeller, bone-in pork chop, raw bar, charred octopus, short ribs, and house made steak sauce.I ordered the Heirloom Chicken with fennel, carrots. and gravy.& Moist chicken with a crisp flavorful skin, rosemary, sage, salt, and smoky tastes. The jus that accompanied was incredible with tastes of thyme and wine that truly enhanced the chicken.My side was the Au gratin potatoes, which were delicious, buttery, thinly sliced, and richly filling.
