CUFA Calls for Opposition to Federal Budget Proposal at Community Town Hall

On April 22, Communities United For Action (CUFA) organized the Federal Tax & Budget Fight: Demonstration & Town Hall, inviting Representative Warren Davidson and Senators John Husted and Bernie Moreno—all declined to participate. Representative Greg Landsman previously engaged with CUFA in Washington, DC regarding the federal budget.Participants marched to Duke Energy, highlighting its sway over elected officials. CUFA member LoA Bennett emphasized that Duke Energy, benefiting from significant tax cuts, exploits communities while lobbying for favorable policies.
