Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue encountered a minor injury due to his unique Louis Vuitton x Nike cleats. As the Cowboys prepare for a crucial Week 5 match against the New York Jets, Blue is set to make his highly anticipated NFL debut. However, an oversight almost jeopardized this moment. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer shared with ESPN NFL Nation's Todd Archer that Blue made a “somewhat questionable choice.”During practice, Blue sported customized Louis Vuitton x Nike football cleats, adorned with “LV” branding in a striking blue and white design. Despite their eye-catching appearance, the cleats caused painful blisters. Schottenheimer recounted, “He wore some stylish new cleats—Louis Vuitton Nikes. They look great, but they caused blisters. Halfway through practice, I found him on the ground. He assured me he was fine but had blisters. Luckily, he quickly changed his footwear, and the blisters weren't severe.” While Schottenheimer admired the cleats’ aesthetic appeal, he gently discouraged rushing to buy a pair, given the discomfort they caused. Notably, while Louis Vuitton and Nike have collaborated on limited-edition sneakers before, this is their first foray into football cleats.
