(The HUB) – Falling behind in classes can significantly impact a high schooler’s path to graduation, so the district is hosting a GrA²D Fair with the theme “Credit Catch-up,” aimed at students who may have fallen behind in their studies, dropped out or faced truancy.Hosted by Graduation, Recovery, Attendance, Advocacy, & Dropout Intervention Department, the event will be held Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sprague Athletic Complex, 3701 Boulder Drive.The event will provide a crucial opportunity to get back on track for graduation in 2025. Parents/guardians, educators and community stakeholders are also encouraged to attend and gain valuable knowledge and resources to help students.Designed to inspire, educate, and empower students, the fair will show students how to prioritize their education through a showcase of credit recovery programs such as Reconnection, Reconnection Plus, Evening Academy, Freshman On-Track Initiative, Grad Lab and Phoenix. The fair will also feature attendance improvement programs, a Q&A session and student success stories.It will also offer resources like personalized “blueprint” plans for graduation, success coaches, and detailed information on various credit recovery programs to attendees.
