Dalyla Nicole’s Juneteenth Initiative Brings Creatives a Unified Resource Space

In collaboration with South Fulton Arts, Atlanta's own Dalyla Nicole is set to host a launch celebration for HTD & Company, a comprehensive creative resource hub for artists and entrepreneurs, on Juneteenth. Nicole, a versatile theatre artist—performer, playwright, and director—attributes her success to cultural anthropology and a passion for building community through storytelling. Her international endeavors in places like Haiti and Australia reflect her commitment to global connection and narrative. As excitement builds for the event, Nicole expresses mixed emotions: "I feel like I’m running around like a chicken with its head cut off but incredibly grateful for this community’s evolution." Highlighting the launch, awaits her inaugural production, Peps! Cola B-tch, which explores societal norms through a multimedia experience. This June event celebrates liberation and honors creativity’s communal spirit, alongside the unveiling of plans for a Black woman-led theater collective, encouraging other creatives to embrace their journeys confidently.
