Dateline explores Atlanta tech entrepreneur Lance Herndon’s murder in upcoming episode

Photo by Justus MartinOne of the most popular crime television shows is going to focus its latest episode on one of Atlanta’s most high-profile murders. NBC’s Dateline will explore the murder of late Atlanta tech entrepreneur Lance Herndon, which took place in his home in Roswell in 1996. There have been a number of crime shows (Oxygen’s Real Crimes of Atlanta: Season 1, Episode 1), podcasts, and books (See: Redbone by Ron Stodghill) that explored Herdon’s death, but this will be the first time Dateline takes on the case. The episode, “The Killer Among Them,” is scheduled to air tonight at 9 p.m. ET.One of the podcasts that focussed on the case is Sinister with its host Ericka “Boze” Bozeman. Season 1, episode 5, titled “Shame, Sugar, Shame,” tells the story of Herndon and his accused and convicted murderer Dionne Baugh.
