Hip Hop Nutcracker, Skating on Big Ice, Elf Training Camp happening this weekend in Upstate

Christmas weekend in the Upstate has a variety of activities, such as the Swamp Rabbits game, Rondal Clay Johnson’s performance at Gather GVL or an Elf training camp for kids. There’s also a hip-hop Nutcracker performance for adults. Below are some events taking place this weekend in the Upstate. Skating on the Big Ice Go Skating on the Big Ice at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville through Dec. 30. Lace up your skates, hit the big ice, and enjoy the fun. The rink is open for all ages to practice skills, skate for fitness, or just enjoy skating while listening to music. Tickets include access to the ice during scheduled two-hour windows. Concessions will be available for purchase. The price of admission includes skate rental and ice walkers based on availability. Helmets and safety gear are recommended for beginner skaters, all sessions are skate at your own risk. Free parking is available in the VIP Lot off of Church Street. Entry to public skating is located in the loading dock below the VIP lot. Tickets are limited availability per session at $15 per person. Price of admission includes skate rental.
