USA Today reports that he has been managing an “unspecified health issue” at his residence in Texas since the commencement of the university’s annual summer football camps last week.On a YouTube livestream from Texas, Deion’s eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., reassured fans by stating that his father is “feeling well.” However, no timeline for his return has been disclosed. Deion Jr. remarked, “He’ll tell y’all soon enough what he’s going through,” adding, “I’m waiting until my dad leaves. Until then, I’m going to sit here with him.”Sanders, 57, recently canceled a scheduled speech at the Sickle Cell Disease Research and Educational Symposium in Florida on June 8, prompting the organization to announce Magic Johnson as the new keynote speaker.
