Deion Sanders Courageously Shares His Fight Against Bladder Cancer

Hall of Famer Deion “Prime Time” Sanders has made a name for himself in both football and baseball, transitioning seamlessly into a successful coaching career. He has notably led Jackson State University to championships and is currently revitalizing the Colorado football program. However, he has recently taken a two-month hiatus from the Colorado campus to recover from an undisclosed health issue. Reports suggest he lost significant weight, possibly due to blood clots that previously led to the amputation of two toes in 2022. Today, Sanders revealed his diagnosis of aggressive bladder cancer, stating, “It wasn’t easy.” At 58, during the press conference ahead of fall camp, he detailed a surgical procedure to reconstruct part of his intestine as a bladder substitute.
