Let’s open a discussion about delicious wines from the country of Georgia.& Georgia is a transcontinental country in Eastern Europe and West Asia. It’s part of the Caucasus region, bounded by the Black Sea to the west, and Russia to the north.& Tsolikouri is a dry white wine from Georgia. This wine is made from (tso- lee-ko-oo-ree) grapes harvested from western Georgian vineyards then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 22 days.& Tsolikouri wine has a light-lemon color with greenish tint. A lightweight wine that offers tremendous thirst quenching properties. Best drank while young with tastes of vibrant lemon, grapefruit, and balanced acidity. This is a beautiful summer wine and pairs well with a big garden salad, grilled chicken, hummus with pita chips, pasta salads, split pea soup, and a turkey cob sandwich. Teliani Vineyards produces a fantastic version of this iconic Georgian white wine.& The post Delight in Georgia’s refreshing Tsolikouri wine appeared first on The Cincinnati Herald .
