A celebration of an organization’s work over a period of time. But that’s not the vibe I’m getting from the Democrats ahead of their convention. For a woman who’s psyops campaign claims to spread “joy”, Kamala Harris’ Democrats don’t seem very happy. Harris’ replacement of Biden was said to harken the party back to 2008. I wrote this about Democrats’ “irrational exuberance”, something pointed out by former Obama adviser David Axelrod: He implied that Trump needs to be concerned now that Biden is out and Harris is in. That’s what he must say to remain in the good graces of the Democrat machine. However, it’s what Axelrod alluded to that matters most. “Irrational exuberance” implies that Democrats’ created the exuberance around Harris. And they did. Democrats claim that switching from Biden to Harris caused an explosion of good feelings for the party. So much so that Democrats set a fundraising record of $300 million since the coup.
