Reports Say Denzel Perryman Was Caught With Assault Weapon in Los Angeles

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has received comments from Denzel Perryman's agent regarding his recent arrest. The agent stated, "Denzel is a well-regarded veteran in the NFL, as well as a devoted father, teammate, and professional. While we acknowledge the seriousness of the situation, we are optimistic that it will be resolved justly and in compliance with the legal system."Agent Ron Butler emphasized, "We are aware of the reports surrounding Denzel Perryman's arrest in Los Angeles. At this juncture, we are still collecting information and intend to fully assist with the investigation." As reported by TMZ, Perryman was detained in Los Angeles on Friday on a felony charge for possessing an assault weapon. Law enforcement officials discovered three handguns and two non-compliant AR rifles in his vehicle while en route to a shooting range. Denzel remains in custody and is set to appear in court on Tuesday.
