They expressed their demands for a formal apology, acknowledgment of wrongdoing, and changes to prevent recurrence.The Phillips expressed their acceptance of the school’s apology and noted the community's need for improvement. Their son, expelled after reporting the slur, is now enrolled in another Christian school as the Phillips await further apologies.The Madeleine School’s statement emphasized a commitment to a racism-free environment.
