(The Dallas Examiner) – In collaboration with Whitsons Culinary Group, the DeSoto Independent School District is offering complimentary breakfast and lunch to children and teens during the summer season as part of its dedication to fostering student health, wellness, and food security. This program is available for children up to 18 years old, along with adults with special needs up to 21 years old, continuing through July 31. Notably, there is no need for registration or identification to access these meals. Service hours are Monday through Thursday, with breakfast provided from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Designated meal locations in DeSoto include: - DeSoto High School, 600 Eagle Drive - Cockrell Hill Elementary, 425 S.
