In a recent interview on a local TV show, Dokta Brain recounted how the collaboration came together unexpectedly.
He revealed that Rema had initially gone to the studio to record a love ballad he had written for her. However, during the session, she jokingly requested another song, sparking the creation of “Go Go Mama.”
According to Dokta Brain, after making her request, Rema briefly stepped out of the studio for about 25 to 30 minutes.

Upon her return, she was preparing to leave but made it clear she wanted the song completed soon.
She instructed him to finalize the track, record his parts, and mute the sections meant for her vocals.
“Go Go Mama,” written by Dokta Brain and produced by Bass Boi, has become a sensation, dominating music charts in Uganda and across Africa.
