Robert Morris, a prominent supporter of former President Donald Trump and ex-pastor of a Texas megachurch, has admitted to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl during the 1980s. Morris, now 64, entered his guilty plea during a court hearing on Thursday, acknowledging felony charges related to lewd acts with a minor. Under the terms of a plea deal, he received a 10-year sentence but will serve merely six months in jail, followed by probation for the remainder. Additionally, Morris is required to register as a sex offender and pay $250,000 in restitution.The case involves allegations from Cindy Clemishire, who stated that Morris abused her over four years, starting when she was just 12, while he was living with her family in Hominy, Oklahoma.
