Downtown IMAX beats summer blues with blockbuster film series

The IMAX theatre in the Indiana State Museum is offering Hoosiers the chance to watch never-before-seen films in IMAX this summer through their A24 and IMAX Indy Presents film series. The IMAX x A24 film series, a partnership combining the big screen and the independent, indie producers, provides a unique opportunity for the fan-favorite A24 films to be seen on Indiana’s largest movie screen. “We have been lucky enough to participate (in the film series),” said Neale Johantgen, IMAX theatre manager. “These are films you don’t typically see in IMAX.” June saw two showings of the psychological thriller “Midsommar,” a colorful film that highlighted A24’s artsy style.
